Letter to Teachers

Dear Educator:

Welcome to the Just Read, Families! website for parents and their children. This site will serve as an educational springboard for children during the summer vacation months.

As you well know, it is not just teachers that help children learn to read. Parents, families, neighbors and mentors also play a crucial role in children's reading success.

Just Read, Families! will provide children and families with information, tools, and hands-on, interactive activities affording young students the opportunity to enhance their reading skills. Please feel free to promote this initiative by encouraging parents to participate as we move forward with our goal to have all students in Florida reading at or above grade level by 2012. Thank you once again for your hard work serving Florida's students.
